I have never dressed up for Halloween before as Australians dont really celebrate it all that much, (Just think of all the free Candy I missed out on as a kid poor me..)
So this is my attempt at 'Shera-The Princess of Power' Remember Heman and Shera cartoons from the 80's? Well I have always wanted an excuse to dress up like her and I thought this years Halloween was the perfect time, as it was also the first Halloween Party I have ever been to as well.
So what do you think?

Old Skool Pics
Melbourne Cup day
Every year Australia goes crazy because of a Horse Race...
"Your Mother has been taken over by a Monster, A Monster I like to call... GAMBLOORRR!"
Ok so Melbourne cup day is early November I believe, everyone wastes so much money, gets dressed up women normally wear fun hats of feathers in their hair which I did that day and eat lots of food, just to watch or bet on a horse race..... I am not a betting person myself but since I would be stuck int he office by myself if I didnt go, I always decide to dress up a little and of course eat the food... So these pictures are of me at work with some of my awesome co-workers, they make my boring job just that little less boring, Thanks guys..
This is Little Amy, She is so cute and I feel like she is my very own Vietnamese Toy to play with.
Below from top left is April this is her last week at work I will miss her, she was a fabulous woman to work with, next to her is Michelle also another of the wonderful ladies in my area.
Below is my little Amy and myself :)

What do you do on Sick Days?
So I haven't done any blogs in a long time, I haven't been very inspired to really do so, or just either too busy or too lazy..
I was on a sick day today and I quickly ran out of good tv programs to watch while laying in bed, Dr Phil and then Oprah but unfortunately Oprah was a rerun of Miley Cyrus, not really anything that gets me excited, so I started off by cleaning my room and once that was done I remembered seeing this beehive hair do on http://www.youtube.com/a while back so I can remember exactly the correct address but I thought it was easy enough that I could give it a try, so I did. It was actually a lot easier the teasing your hair like crazy, Simply part the front sections of your hair towards your face, then at the top going towards the back of your head make a small triangle section of hair and make it into a small pony/bun on top of your head, I perchased a fake hair extension/piece (I got a clip on hair piece because I got it really cheap)
Such as this one below, I simply took off the clip.
All you do with that is put it into a nylon hair net that some what blends in with the hair piece, please note to try and get the hair piece that is close to your own hair colour, then simply place this on top of your bun and pin it in so it is now sitting firm on top of your head. Then grab sections of the hair you parted at the front and pull it over the hair piece/bun pining it in the back and keep doing this until the bun is covered with your own hair, it is quick and simple and a fun hair style.
I also got pretty hungry as I did not eat anything all day and I started to crave Pikelets!
So I made pikelets (Little thick pancakes) with the typical toppings of Jam and Cream, they hit the spot well. Here is a simple recipe I just looked up for your convenience http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/Easy-Pikelets-L1305.html

Getting back with Nature
So I haven't done any blogs in a while because I thought I haven't had anything fun or exciting to blog about, But I did forget that I have gotten back to Nature recently which was quite enjoyable being able to take in all the beauty of what the Lord has given us. I visited Lamington National Park/O'Reillys last weekend which was really lovely, it is a great place to meditate and relax and be one with nature. OR take a very long hike up and down the mountain through the Forrest. On top of the mountain you can experience all these beautiful coloured birds come and land on your arms, shoulders and head, if you have a bit of bird seed in your hands they will flock to you, or if you are like me and my friend you just pretend you have something in your hands and they will be fooled for a few moments. There are also about a million Bush Turkeys up there, they are the fattest ones I have ever seen, looks like the tourists feed them pretty well, I was thinking if I ever want a good Christmas Dinner I should take a Trip up there :-)
They also have a Tree top walk, we didn't get to go on it this time round but I remember going on it when I was younger. My friend and I went on a hike that went for roughly 3-4 hours, it was a long way but it was great exercise. And I am sure there are shorter ones for those who don't think they could go for that long. Also It would have been better in summer as we could have gone for a swim at the bottom of the hike, as there was a giant pool of rushing clear water, it looked beautiful. There are also many hikes there that have waterfalls.
As you are driving up the mountain it weaves and turns and towards the top it is so Amazing, there are trees the cover both sides of the roads, it feels like you are in a Fairy Land! I was just waiting for a little fairy or pixie to come flying out of the trees.
On our drive we were hoping to find other animals such as Kangaroos.. To begin with all we saw was a dead one on the side of the road,
We did manage to see a group of 3, Big medium and little tiny one but as we were trying to get a photo, an inconsiderate car behind us wouldn't stop but drove up to them stopped.. and then scared them off while we were trying to take a picture, such a shame as it would have been a great shot too.
But one other great thing that you will find on your travels up the winding mountain is a LAMA FARM! They are so cute, I wanted to take a baby one home with me. And I got a little excited about seeing them :-)
